A vividly hand coloured and decorative map of the four provinces of Ireland, engraved and published by George Frederick Cruchley, c.1850.
The map is decorated with the cartouche and title of the Prince of Wales showing the three ostrich feathers encircled by a coronet. The motto of the Order of the Garter, “Honi soit qui mal y pense”, is underneath the coronet. This is one of a series of “Prince of Wales’ Maps”.
