This map is coloured, showing Grass and Cultivated land, Woodland, Moorland and Hill Pasture and more. There are six inset maps showing Temperature and Rainfall in January, July and Actual annual.The temperature is measured in Fahrenheit, and the rainfall is coloured according to the inches. From a special edition of “The Times Survey Atlas and Gazetteer of the World ” dedicated to King George V. by His Majesty’s Cartographer, J.G.Bartholomew, 1922.
