Antique, Vintage, copperplate engraved Chart of Western Africa to the Cape of Good Hope. Showing the Island of St.Helena. and the Bank du Agullas near the Dutch Fort at Cape of Good Hope. The land has the old African names Mataman, Nimaguas Hottentots.
The chart, drawn by Thomas Kitchin is from the French Chart of the Western Ocean by order of Count de Maurepas, published by Bardot Smith, Marchaise and others, 1738.
