Giueppe Garibaldi (1807-1882)
Italian patriot and soldier was the key military figure in the creation of the Kingdom of Italy by helping unify the various states of the Italian peninsula. he devoted his life to fighting oppression. He was a champion of the rights of labour and of women’s emancipation.
